Enabling Effective Pastoral Support and Promoting the Wellbeing of Children and Young People, in Education. Introduction In a decade in which children and young people's development and wellbeing are still hindered by the impact of COVID-19 lockdowns, it is essential that schools and colleges' approach to pastoral support is a preventative one. That is the approach to providing outstanding pastod wellbeing support, in schools and colleges. That is, if senior leaders are truly committed to supporting pupils and students' physical, emotional, social, and psychological wellbeing. Unfortunately, many schools fail to provide adequate pastoral support and risk the safety and wellbeing of children and young people, entrusted to them, by being reactive, instead of well-prepared and responsive. This advanced training in pastoral and wellbeing support was created by an experienced pastoral lead and senior mental health lead. It is centred on the strategic and operational planning, including tools, technological and human resources, policies, procedures, normal ways of working, and partnership working that will enhance your school's culture.

Conflict Prevention, Management, and Resolution, in Schools and Colleges. Introduction Working in schools and colleges is certainly one of the most rewarding jobs, in the world, simply because one cannot put a price on observing children and young people develop to become great women and men who will lead our societies. That is our experience and that of many colleagues we have add the privilege to work with, in various learning environments and contexts. It is still, however, difficult to imagine a workplace where conflict amongst staff does not exist. In fact, in our experience, we have observed experienced senior leaders fail to protect their staff from conflict, often causing them, consciously, or not. We have also witnessed and, in the past, were involved in difficult conversations and relationships with colleagues simply because we had not understood one thing, yet. That is that every conflict start with ourselves, in our minds, and ways we may contribute to it, or not. If conflicts are not managed promptly, fairly, and professionally, they can destroy careers, hinder pupils and students' attainment and pastoral support, as well as bringing the organisation into disrepute. We will say it, again. CHEART HnE have gone far beyond PowerPoint reading and unrealistic advice others pretend to offer. We have created an advanced training programme that is structured to equip school and college staff with the communication, observation, problem-solving, and action-oriented skills that help them minimise risks of conflict development.
Content and Structure - Where does conflict start:The role of self, identity, and Perception - Conflict-enabling Internal and External Factors, in schools and colleges. = Understanding de-escalation , risk, and threat development as tools to manage conflict - Productive communication and conflict management, in educational settings. i falta dus pa resolution
